Same body and functions as 508, but with switchable speeds by symbols: sun or cloud, body style change from the 1000.
The sliding part is made of plastic with a lock to keep the body closed. On Agfamatic 1008, 1008 tele, 2000 flash, 3000 flash etc closing lock is on the sliding part, on "classics" Agfamatic 2000, 3000 etc. closing lock is a large button under the camera near the wrist-chain. Door to film chamber hinges on the side, not down as on the 4008 and classic Agfamatics.
