Go to the main index The MINOLTA 16 GUIDE by Ted Rosenberg

Ted Rosenberg, then Customer Relations Manager for Minolta Corp., wrote the definitive book on the entire Minolta 16 family of cameras in 1973. In the 128 page book, he covered basic operating information for every 16 Minolta made. He described techniques of 16 flash photography, developing and printing, 16 accessories and specialized applications of these collectibles . The MINOLTA 16 GUIDE is available on CD-ROM details at  http://www.subclub.org/news/news35.htm. Contact Ted Rosenberg directly as postal charges change (30USD).

The CD-ROM includes a manual for the original and incompatible Konan camera which clearly shows features found in the later 16 and 16 II cameras.

The Minolta 16 guide includes information on the then current product range and discontinued models at that time. More useful are the chapters explaining how to photograph the moon or take aerial photographs. The reproduction of the photographs in the PDF file are good.

It is a must for every Minolta 16 users and collector. The original printed book turns up on auction, but expect to pay 15-40USD.
