The Pentacon K16 appears to be a very robust Pocket camera. It has a spring clip fastener, which is released with a twist action of the dial. It weighs only 240g without film. The cartridge simply drops in and resembles the Minolta/Kiev cartridge or that of the 110.
There is little information on this camera or what variations there might be.
Production creased in May 1989.
The film was available in black and white NP20 and ORWOCOLOR NC 20: 20 DIN/ 80 ASA with 16mm film taking 20 pictures. The cartridge is 82.75 mm wide, 22.55 mm high and 26.50 mm deep and has two sets of perforations, in the middle and along one edge.
