Listed in "Spy Camera" page 76 Michael Pritchard and Douglas St. Denny as a Hope (from the top plate engraving) made by Sugaya Optical Company Limited the name plate is marked "Sugaya Model II". The camera's body shape is similar to that of the Midget.

This name plate and lens barrel has also appeared on a version of the Mycro from Sanwa Co. Ltd (see below) which most likely was a modification performed post production.
