This is a Star subminiature camera, made by Yamato of Japan in the early 1950's, for 14 x 14 mm exposures on tiny spools of special roll film. Ostensibly a typical "Hit" style novelty camera, but built noticeably heavier, from a manufacturer never known for this type of camera, and extremely rare today!
