Along side the production of the Rollei 35 with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens made in Singapore was also the camera with a Schneider S-Xenar lens. 30000 where made from July 1972-Aril 1973. About 200 where made in black with brown alligator printed leather. The S-Xenar cameras where sold outside of Germany, in Eastern Europe, Italy and the USA.
