Going Digital - Minox Digital Classic Camera Leica M3 compared to the 8x11 version

The photographs below compare the Minox Leica M3 8x11 classic with the digital version.

The photograph above shows the two Minox classic Leica M3 with fitted lens caps. The caps are not the same size with the M3 digital being identical to the classic Leica 1F and IIIf lens caps.

In the photograph below the Minox classic M3 digital is compared with the NISIS Op1 and Minox AIII. The NISIS uses a pair of AAA batteries and the Minox IIIA needs no batteries at all. The bulk of the M3 digital is at the back of the camera making it look smaller than it is.
