The supplied multi-purpose cradle lets you transfer photos to your PC, charge your camera's battery and see your images on your TV. With the smart zoom you can get much closer to the action without sacrificing on quality. This easy-to-operate camera combines great looks with a great performance!

Because it's so compact the DSC-F77 does not have optical zoom, but you can still bring the subject closer with Smart zoom, without loss of image quality. The Smart zoom ratio depends on the image resolution, when shooting 2 megapixel pictures the zoom ratio is 1.4 x, and when shooting at VGA resolution (e.g. for e-mails or web sites) it rises to an impressive 3.4 x. Smart zoom is not available when taking 4 megapixel photographs.

When you place the camera in the supplied compact cradle it makes all the connections for you: DC to charge the battery, USB to transfer your photographs to a computer and AV for a television to view your pictures. In other words, all you have to do is place the camera in the cradle, there's no need for fiddling with cables.

For the ultimate in travelling compactness the new multiterminal allows you to connect the camera directly to the charger, or get a separate USB cable so you can leave the cradle at home.
