The original form, above, shows the labelling in white. The black finish is smooth. The dial has not window over the f-stop settings. The later form, below is a crackle finish black  which covers the engraving which can be seen faintly as shadows. The aperture /film counter dial and focus dial have been upgraded to 35 and 35L types.
