The top cassette, photograph below, dates from the 1950s and is made of metal. Thicker take up spool for the 15 exposure cassette is shown as the second row, and then the standard 36 exposure film cassette and a film showing a tightly packed film with the key hole cut out for the Minox developing tank.

A close up to show the thicker 15 exposure take up spool compared to the original 50 and later 36 exposure cassettes.

The final version of the Minox cassette has clip on caps.
